As a Gator fan that wasn't a fan of the hire, I don't see it. What he's done has been impressive and I do think he's a good fit for UF compared to the last two idiots. And we clearly lucked out considering what Chip and Frost have accomplished at this point. However, until he beats Kirby, he is Kirby's bitch. He doesn't appear to take the Georgia game all that seriously IMO. He even stated the players should treat every game the same and I get that, but Jacksonville is different. Spurrier knew that and so did Urban. While his recruiting is improving (SLOWLY) he still needs to improve and get rid of some dead weight on his staff if he wants to compete with the upper echelon. I see 10/11 win seasons with the occasional trip to Atlanta riding a Sr/Jr heavy team. Playoffs maybe if it moves to an 8 seed.

This is exactly the point I was trying to make. Spurrier understood, Kirby understands.

It's hard to understand nearly as good as those 2.

Knox and English need to go. *IF* he would put winning big ahead of loyalty to his buddies by bringing in a couple of stud recruiters in their place, there would be no limit. Otherwise it will take some good fortune. We need to win about 5 more high profile recruiting battles per class.
