Didn't see an entertainment section on here like some other websites I have frequented...

So I decided to post this since I love a good (or as you see so bad it's good LOL) horror movie.
 
On my 2nd mug of coffee and watching 1974's Black Christmas.

-About a group of sorority sisters that are partying during the Xmas season and they received threatening phone calls and are subsequently stalked and murdered.

-Margot Kidder (Superman 1 and 2, The Amityville Horror) is the main name most will notice as she plays an alcoholoc sorority sister and John Saxon (Nightmare on Elm Street, Enter the Dragon) plays Lt Ken Fuller.

-One of the earliest slasher movies considered a classic. Inspired movies later like Slumber Party Massacre (rewatched this a few days ago).

-Was remade in 2006 and 2019.

8-8.5/10
 
Started off this AM with Legend of the Psychotic forest ranger (2011 or 2012).

-4 teenagers get stranded when their car runs out of gas. Pretty predictable.

-Super low budget, just 50k, Canadian.

-Campy throwback to the 1980's.

4.5/10. A little below average but PSA: I am pretty generous with my ratings. While Black Christmas was pretty good and a classic, this one? Might not be 4.5 to everybody. I like the throwbacks and campy ones. There were some good one liners by the Forest ranger as he was killing people.....LOL.
 
Really miss the legendary John Carpenter.

Not officially retired but hasn't made a movie since like 2010.
