Sunday Night Football, College Edition! Tonight it's the Houston Cougars of the American Athletic paying a visit to the Big 12's Oklahoma Sooners.

2018 didn't end the way UH wanted to, going with 8-5 with a humiliating loss to Army in the Armed Forces Bowl. A head coaching change brings Dana Holgerson to the City of Oilers and his first test, a team Coach Holgerson is familiar with from his days at West Virginia, the Sooners.

While 2018 didn't go the way the Cougars wanted it to, OU had a much better time of it with only one loss heading into December and that loss, to Texas would be avenged in the Big 12 Championship Game. Their season would end with a Chosen 4 loss to Alabama in the Orange Bowl, but they put up a good fight against the Crimson Tide and this year, head coach Lincoln Riley is ready for Season 3 in Norman.

The Cougars and Sooners go at it on ABC. Coverage is set to begin at 7:30pm ET and kickoff is probably anywhere from 7 to 15 minutes after that. There's no telling with that Pregame Rush crap.

Speaking of Disney properties, how long before the House of Mouse throws Time Warner and/or Sony an offer they can't refuse? Heck, the Time Warner entertainment vault alone would be enough for them to want it, given they'd have DC Comics, Looney Tunes/Hanna-Barbera, and the MGM version of the Wizard of Oz.

I am really interested in this matchup.

Houston is never a team to sleep on and it feels like they are really going to be using this as a P5 statement game.

I was thinking of doing a game thread for the Southern 500 as I'm kinda partial to it, but rain on slick tires do not a race car like so temptation is easily denied tonight.
