How's your weather?

Ended up 74 and sunny all day. The hot weather is supposed to hit this weekend and we really need some evaporation. The Great Lakes are at near all time highs and the ground is completely saturated. Glad I live on high ground, there’s lots of people who are nowhere near a flood plain that are under water.

It’s crazy to think some places have droughts. I’m mowing my lawn every 3 days.

Rained like hell most of the day. I had to take my dad to the doctor and lost a tire about the time the rain kicked back off again.

I stripped down to my boxer briefs to keep my clothes dry changing the tire now that they will let me in the office.

Lightning hit a transformer within about 50 feet half way through torquing the last lug nut. Fun day.

We've gotten about 20% of our normal ANNUAL precip in the past 5 days. We are waterlogged like if rarely seen. Last night I was feeding hogs walking through calf deep water with hail, heavy rain and lightning so close you could feel it. Was a little scary lol but the hogs got fed.

We had 14" of water after Michael at the lake cottage.

My cousin went up to look at it yesterday and sent me a picture that showed the water line hit about 4' awhile back.
