Man, the stories I could tell. Savor every moment. Understand that no matter how good you were at being a Dad, you are staring at the best time of your life. It just hits different. All parents make mistakes. Being a grandparent is our opportunity to correct those mistakes. We handle situations different. We are more patient, as we understand that this whole new person is and always will be their own person. Teaching kids while learning how at the same time is different from guiding them with the experience and wisdom gained from our past trials.We are back to visit for a week.
