Welcome to the board caroline. Hope you Have fun here. I'm a casual fight fan myself, by no means any kind of an expert, i just enjoy watching them when I can. Folk style wrestling is my favorite sport.

Thank you! Hopefully we can all have fun together. Sometimes being a casual fan is one of the most fun things. You enjoy something while you enjoy it, but it doesn't consume you. I'd suggest watching next weekend's card, UFC 248. It's going to have multiple fights go into deep rounds. I can honestly say that I don't believe I've ever watched folk style wrestling. I'll have to look into it.

Folk style is what we wrestle in highschool and college. Next weekend is the big ten tournament, (toughest conference in wrestling by a longshot) and a week and a half after that will be nationals. Turn on btn next Sunday, they will broadcast the finals live. The reason I brought up wrestling to begin with is because it's an excellent base for mma. Alot of wrestlers have ended up in mma, and have done well. It's a fun and tough sport.

I didn't think "licking your ankles" was supposed to be taken literally, but I'm glad I know that now!
 
Don't listen to these other prudes @FQ_Caroline, especially the Georgia Dawgs, I'm your good-time Charlie here on 5Q....and if you have no idea what that means, that's the fun part of my charm.
