Ok

Examples, please.
- I don't agree that the US is fighting in Iran for Israel rather than for its own reasons.

- I don't agree with his talk about how targeting infrastructure is a "war crime"

- I don't agree that Israeli military operations in Gaza are or have been anything remotely approaching "genocide"

- I don't agree that Iran has positioned themselves as "defenders of the Palestinian people". The Palestinians were the ones who STARTED the conflict and they did so by torturing, raping, murdering, and kidnapping Israeli civilians (more than a few Americans among them)

- I don't agree that Iran has "taken control" over the Strait of Hormuz

- I don't agree with his repeated praise of Islam or Sharia law. His claim that islamic societies are "more advanced" than western societies is a complete joke.

Okay, but you not agreeing is very different from any of these being "crazy". Excuse me, "nuts". I agree with him on some, disagree on others, and the degree of which is subjective. But they're all fair and valid opinions.

This is mischaracterization at best, and dishonest at worst.

I think his position on some of these is nuts.

No its not.

"A viral clip of US commentator Tucker Carlson has stirred a row after he suggested that societies governed by Sharia law
are “more advanced” than those in the West."

"He goes further, making a comparison: “Sharia Law has made Islamic societies more advanced than the West.”

This is not just a question of me thinking chaining women to the kitchen sink is not a good thing (though it'd be beneficial for some obnoxious feminazis in the West), or me thinking throwing Alphabet people off of tall buildings is barbaric or chopping a petty thief's hand off is barbaric, tolerating wife beating or fucking young boys all of which are fairly routine in muslim countries - are bad things. No. Its more than that.

What have Muslim countries developed? What great advances in the field of say, Biology? Space exploration? Flight? Telecommunications? Medicine? Materials Science? Physics? The list goes on and on. Quick! Other than oil, name a big world beating company from a Muslim country? I'll give an example. South Korea has 50 million people. 65 years ago they were living in mud huts. LG Electronics. Samsung. Kia. Hyundai. South Korea is now 14th in the world in GDP. There are 2 BILLION Muslims in the world. Name a company. How many nobel prize winners in science? I'll answer for you.

"Only four scientists from Muslim backgrounds have been awarded a Nobel Prize in science (Physics, Chemistry, or Medicine/Physiology)"

  • Dr. Abdus Salam (Physics, 1979): A theoretical physicist from Pakistan.
  • Dr. Ahmed Zewail (Chemistry, 1999): An Egyptian-American chemist.
  • Dr. Aziz Sancar (Chemistry, 2015): A Turkish-American biochemist.
  • Dr. Moungi Bawendi (Chemistry, 2023): A French-American chemist of Tunisian/Lebanese heritage.

So....4. THREE of whom won their nobel prizes in science after coming to America!

That's fucking PATHETIC.

That's not my opinion. Those are facts. "oh but but but Muslims were advanced in science hundreds and hundreds of years ago when Europe was in the medieval period" I can hear some of the typical Yurp snivellers say. Yeah.....when they sacked Constantinople and inherited and translated a whole bunch of Greek texts of Greek scientific achievements, then they were advanced. When it came to developing things for themselves? Not so much.

These 7th century goat fuckers wouldn't have electricity without the West. Nor would they have any of the other trappings of the modern world. The West and more recently Asia, developed them all. It took the Brits and Americans to find their own god damn oil and pump it out of the ground for them. They couldn't even manage that!.....that oil going to feed internal combustion engines and jet engines both of which were developed by.....you guessed it.....the West.

Islam is shit. They're basically just parasites on the West. If it weren't for oil Westerners found for them and pumped out of the ground for them they'd have utterly nothing.

More advanced, my ass Tucker.

About the oil and gas.....I really wonder if people realize that Westerners literally did it all in the Middle East. Westerners found it. Westerners drilled it. Westerners developed all the infrastructure to export it. Let's ask Google a series of questions.

westerners developed iran's oil

Westerners, primarily British interests, were indeed responsible for the initial development of Iran's oil industry.

westerners developed the UAE's oil

Western oil companies and engineers were indeed essential to the initial discovery and commercial development of the UAE’s oil reserves. However, their role was strictly as contractors and concession holders. The UAE’s leadership initiated the surveys, secured the resources, and ultimately transformed that wealth into a diversified, modern nation.

westerners developed Qatar's oil

Westerners played a fundamental role in discovering and developing Qatar's oil and natural gas industries. Initial exploration began in 1935 when the British-backed Iraq Petroleum Company (IPC)—a consortium of European and American firms—was granted a concession. They successfully discovered oil in the Dukhan field in 1940

westerners developed Kuwait's oil

Yes, Western companies played a foundational role in discovering and developing Kuwait’s oil. This began in 1934 when the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) was established as a joint venture between the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (now BP) and the American Gulf Oil Company (now Chevron).

westerners developed Saudi Arabia's oil

Westerners, specifically American oil companies, played a foundational role in discovering and developing Saudi Arabia's oil reserves. The relationship began in 1933 when King Abdulaziz granted an oil concession to the Standard Oil Company of California (SOCAL)—the precursor to Chevron.

westerners developed Libya's oil

Westerners indeed developed Libya's oil industry. Following the first major petroleum strikes in 1959, American, British, and other international companies handled early exploration and infrastructure. While Colonel Muammar Gaddafi nationalized many of these foreign assets in the 1970s, Western firms continue to dominate and heavily invest in the region.

westerners developed algeria's oil

French colonial companies and Western engineers pioneered the development of Algeria's oil industry in the Sahara during the 1950s.

westerners developed Syria's oil

Westerners have historically played a major role in developing Syria's oil industry. This began in the mid-1950s when American geologist James W. Menhall discovered Syria's first major crude deposits, and later grew to include significant investments from European and American energy corporations.

Get it? EVERYTHING THEY HAVE was derived from the West. The same is true of Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, etc but they picked up the baton and ran with it. They developed things of their own and have started contributing to the global economy, to science, etc. Muslims are still just about 100% dependent on resource extraction from the land they happened to be camped on at the time.....resources found and developed by the West to fuel engines developed by the West.
