They have to be from NYC we’re a whole different breed upstate albeit I’m not a millennial either and I wouldn’t mind giving NYC to New Jersey….. NYC drags the rest of our state down. We do have Cracker Barrel’s in New York. We don’t eat at Cracker Barrel , wish we had Waffle House tho it’s not even close. But we don’t go out to eat either nothing beats the real thing especially with southern cooking.I’ve also become a bit spoiled with real southern cooking

A couple guys, twins, I played Call of Duty with for years in sanctioned tournaments were from Ithica. They detested being roped in with stereotypical New Yorkers the way us Southerners do people from the UK calling all of us yanks.
