July Pics

An unknown leaking faucet elbow got the white tile wet in the kitchen. It was low light and I busted my ass.

The countertop broke my fall with the side of my head and the cabinet handles caught each side of my backbone on the way down.

I woke up to paramedics. Apparently I had a seizure.
Damn dude, I hope you are out of there. Heal up quick, how is your mom doing?

The crazy bitch nurse threatened to tie me down or baker act me after I removed the electrodes and IVs once the doc and neurologist said I was good to go. I just wanted to check on my mom.

I feel like someone beat me with a sack of hammers and my mom is hobbling but made it up to my uncle's to take care of him and his medicine this morning.

I'm going to see if I feel like hauling off some storm debris tomorrow. Thanks for the kind words fellas.

Early yesterday morning, having coffee and talking with the wife about current events and what we want to do for 4th July. Wife said let's go to breakfast, we got in the car and start driving with no particular place in mind to go and we were still talking. 20 minutes south of Houston on US Hwy 59, no traffic, cruise control set at 80, 2 Vettes passed us like we're standing still, follow by a Mustang, a Porsche SUV and a BMW. Wife said let's join them. We were doing 100+ all the way to Victoria TX, and next thing we know we were in Corpus Christi, having brunch on USS Lexington and 250 miles from home. That was the most fun we had driving in a while.

Very cool, man.

I got to tour the Forrestal and Saratoga when I was a much younger man. Very impressive ships.

I would say a hot turd in a diaper doesn't count but I know you're older than that. 🤣

Tell us more.

True story. My Mama taught me to make a bitchin version of vegetable soup. I decided one night that I would try something different with the leftovers. I rolled out some canned biscuits and filled them with the leftover soup using a holed spoon, then rolled them up like my mama used to do with apple turnovers. Stuck that shit in the oven for about 10 minutes and it was delicious. I'm still making many versions of that today. Whatever I cook becomes my version of Hot Pockets.

21 months? What was the hold up?
The dirty bastards will fight tooth and nail not to pay out and you wind up having to go through multiple third party arbitrators which are overwhelmed.

The insurance companies have all sorts of ridiculous fine print to save them from paying out and they change their policies without notification. My folks had a new $5500 hurricane proof fence destroyed that wasn't covered because it wasn't attached to the block house, not to mention the paneled chain link in the back.

Nasty, nasty people.

My neighbors are finally getting a new roof nearly 21 months after Hurricane Michael!

I installed the electrical mast a little while ago.

They are great people and I'm so happy for them.

BTW, if any of you work for an insurance company I likely hate you.
Dunskie. I smoked them a boneless beef shoulder roast for a coming home meal.
