Last Weekend of the Good Time

This weekend is the last one to enjoy the normal time. Early on Sunday the 8th, we lose an hour (unless you live in one of the awesome states that doesn't observe). I hate it every year. I'm grumpy for about a month or more until I can finally adjust.

I was so excited when a Nebraska legislator introduced a bill to stick to daylight savings time year round....but then I read the bill and knew it would not happen anytime soon.......

I fucking loathe the time changes..... tax me more Nebraska and I wouldn’t care if you vote to leave the time the same year round.....

I'm not surprised. A degree from UF doesn't guarantee the knowledge and ability to tie your own shoes.

I've had a countdown to the start of daylight savings since we went back to standard time last fall. I hate standard time.
I work during the day and have all my farm chores to do in the evening. I'll work outside until dark and that extra light makes it so I can get so much more done. In the summer we will have light until 10:30.

I don’t see the advantages to standard time but I am sure there may be some. As for daylight savings time I am all for it, as the reason you stated and for us city slickers one good arguable reason is kids sports. After school sports benefit from the extra daylight time.
