I remember back in the late 70s when we got cable. 12 channels, one was CNN and the outlier was TBS.

I remember going to some of my families homes far out in the sticks and they would be yelling out the door telling whoever was manning the antenna which way to turn it just to get local stations CBS, NBC or ABC. There was not Fox at the time.
