Rush Limbaugh, conservative talk radio pioneer, dead at 70

Rush Limbaugh, the monumentally influential media icon who transformed talk radio and politics in his decades behind the microphone, helping shape the modern-day Republican Party, died Wednesday morning at the age of 70 after a battle with lung cancer, his family announced.

Sad day, he did alot for conservatism. He lived up to his slogan, your host for life. May he rest in peace
 
He was always WAY more conservative than I am, but he is a true loss to our American society. He always done an amazing job of explaining the conservative platform the way it should be while continuing to try and accept the liberal platform the way it should be. I can only imagine his frustration as he watched both sides drift further and further towards the extreme over the years. He saw the division we have in our country today coming many years ago.
