It's prolly been 7 years ago or so, but it was WLOCP day and Florida took a 17 point lead in the first half. Even though I was prolly 15 beers in already, I popped the top on a fifth of Cuervo and threw it out the front door. Not the bottle, the top. Anyways.....I found out the next day when I woke up that the Dawgs had come back and won.

Awesome, haha! Similarly, we were down late vs the rats years ago so I stormed out of the watching party after a few shots of Fernet to numb the pain and somehow made it home on one shoe. Found that fucker 2 days later, it was 300 feet from my front door. We ended up winning in 2OT.

1997 Nebraska losing to Missouri in the 4th quarter and I go bananas tearing up my own living room. I picked up the recliner and tossed it at the TV destroying it. Later that night, I was awakened on the living room floor by the fire alarm going off due to the pizza I was burning in the oven. I then received a call from my Husker-loving Aunt who asked me "Can you believe it?" I said "Believe what?"

I had missed the miracle live on TV because of my drunk disease.
