It’s a trend nationwide. We’re currently having discussions about whether we should slash the student allotment. That’s the student section by the way. If they’re not going to show up, they just don’t need to be getting tickets.
We also need to think about who we are admitting to the university. Frankly, I don’t care how much community service you do and even your academics are of limited importance if you’re not going to be committed and loyal to the university for life. It’s not just a business transaction. There are things that are more important than a few more academic ranking points.
