as the board state-licensed geoscientist,

But...climate change. In 1960, David Latimer planted a tiny garden inside of a large glass bottle and sealed it shut. He opened the bottle 12 years later in 1972 to add some water and then sealed it for good. The self contained ecosystem has flourished for nearly 60 years.
For those who are wondering how this is even possible: the garden is a perfectly balanced and self-sufficient ecosystem. The bacteria in the compost eats the dead plants and breaks down the oxygen that is released by the plants, turning it into carbon dioxide, which is needed for photosynthesis. The bottle is essentially a microcosm of earth.

Climate change is inevitable. We have deserts that used to be seas and seas that used to be deserts. I find it ironic that instead of drilling for oil, we buy oil from other countries. They seem concerned about this WORLD climate change but are okay that we are paying out the ass for other places to drill like there is no tomorrow.But...climate change.

And dont get me started about the electric crap, we will be dependent upon China and other countries for Lithium extraction which is a bigger issue both environmentally and politically...
Im out of my league saying this, but why arent people studying this for self-sustainable energy? In 1960, David Latimer planted a tiny garden inside of a large glass bottle and sealed it shut. When they figure out how to charge for it and tax it, then it will happen.Im out of my league saying this, but why arent people studying this for self-sustainable energy?
Coming sooner than you think. Carbon credit by 2025.When they figure out how to charge for it and tax it, then it will happen.
Read about the biodomes that have been studied for decades. This was actually a precursor to the biodome studies that were basically experiments in how we could live on Mars. Pretty interesting stuff.Im out of my league saying this, but why arent people studying this for self-sustainable energy?
