I've decided I'm only running a game thread for the Hurricanes and Gators here at FQ. So if someone wants to go to one of the other places and start one, go for it.

UM is coming off a 2018 campaign that saw them finish 7-6 with a loss in the Pinstripe Bowl and Manny Diaz get marked up to the head coaching gig.
UF meanwhile finished 2018 with a 10-3 record including a win over Michigan in the Peach Bowl. Dan Mullen now enters Year #2 as head coach.

As per custom since 1992, Florida will play their non-conference schedule in their home state with 2 games against in-state ACC rivals and the other being home tilts against FCS teams.

Not to be outdone, the 'Canes are adopting the UF non-con strategy for this season with all 4 of their non-conference games also being in the Sunshine State with 2 being at alternate sites against in-state rivals and the other 2 being home games, one of which is against an in-state FCS and the other of which is against CMU of the Mid-American.

Kickoff is approximately 30 minutes away.

Miami will go with their classic road look for this game, white hats and shirts with orange pants.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand the signal went out. That's the pratfall of satellite. One good dark cloud in the way and I get nothing and like it.

I'm having to stream this for now so I'll be a bit behind until the satellite clears up.

The FBS season is underway!

The Gators are going with their traditional home look of orange hats, blue shirts, white pants.

UF has an 8 beside their name, thus proving that for some it's beneficial to schedule 2 FCS teams at home.
