The Florida Gators hold on to beat the Miami-FL Hurricanes 24-21 in Orlando. UF starts the season 1-0 and UM starts 0-1.

Both teams are off next week with Florida having 2 weeks to prepare for UT Martin at home and Miami-FL having North Carolina on the road to deal with.

What pissed me off the most is that Manny Diaz is supposed to be some kind of defensive guru. Franks is well known as a softy that folds when he takes a hard hit. He sucked the whole game but Diaz never blitzed him.
