Michael Penix Jr. > Joe Milton

MICHAEL PENIX JR., WASHINGTON: +300
With every week, Michael Penix Jr. builds on his massive yardage total and further separates from the pack as the nation’s most prolific passer. He already has 1,636 yards on his ledger — over 200 more than the next-best total. Another dazzling performance, in which he completed 19-of-25 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns, was enough to launch him into the top spot on the odds list. Penix led Washington to four-straight blowout victories to open the season, and while much bigger challenges await, the Huskies’ star quarterback shows no signs of slowing down.
CALEB WILLIAMS, USC: +375

QB: MICHAEL PENIX JR., WASHINGTON (93.8 OVERALL)
Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. narrowly edges out fellow Pac-12 signal-callers Caleb Williams and Shedeur Sanders as PFF’s top-rated transfer quarterback with a 93.8 overall grade. The sixth-year senior is off to an outstanding start, throwing for 1,630 yards with 16 touchdowns to two interceptions through four games with an adjusted completion percentage of 83.1. He is the nation’s leading passer for the second straight year at 409.0 yards per game – no other player is averaging more than 352.5 yards per game. Penix, who is in his second season at Washington after transferring from Indiana, was the No. 23 quarterback and No. 247 overall prospect in the 2022 transfer portal rankings.

1. Michael Penix Jr. - WASHINGTON HUSKIES QB
I couldn't hold off any longer. As was the case when I put Quinn Ewers here after Texas' win over Alabama, this has nothing to do with my feelings for Caleb Williams. This is strictly about Penix being the head of a flame-throwing dragon known as the Washington Huskies. There is not a throw Penix can't make right now. He's lighting everybody up.
2. Caleb Williams - USC TROJANS QB
3. Bo Nix - OREGON DUCKS QB
4. Quinn Ewers - TEXAS LONGHORNS QB
5. Cameron Ward - WASHINGTON STATE COUGARS QB
6. Tyler Van Dyke - MIAMI (FL) HURRICANES QB
7. Jordan Travis - FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES QB
8. Kyle McCord - OHIO STATE BUCKEYES QB
9. Spencer Rattler - SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS QB
10. Jack Plummer - LOUISVILLE CARDINALS QB

7. Washington Huskies
Washington may possess the most prolific passing offense we’ve seen since Joe Burrow and LSU in 2019. Michael Penix Jr. seems like a Heisman frontrunner alongside Caleb Williams, and he has three legit future NFL receivers, led by Rome Odunze. This looks like a team that can score at will on anyone.

Michael Penix Jr., Washington — 98%
Penix might just throw the prettiest long bomb in college football. Blessed with a cannon, a confident head coach, a brilliant offensive coordinator and arguably the best trio of targets in Pac-12 and maybe the country, Penix is already more than halfway there with 16 touchdowns so far.
Caleb Williams, USC — 95%
Cameron Ward, Washington State — 80%
Bo Nix, Oregon — 75%
Shedeur Sanders, Colorado — 60%
Jayden de Laura, Arizona — 40%
Dante Moore, UCLA — 30%
DJ Uiagalelei, Oregon State — 20%
Ashton Daniels, Stanford — 2%
Sam Jackson IV, Cal — 2%
Cam Rising, Utah — 1%
Jaden Rashada, Arizona State — 1%

TBH I figured Penix would have a good season with his WR's returning so when I saw that competition story (in the OP) I worded that thread title in order to suck della in ... and it worked. :D
Tennessee doesn't have a one trick pony offense like Washington. We lead the SEC in rushing offense and support it with a great passing game. If Washington ever plays a team with a pulse we will see what they are made of.

If the G-5 have a Halloween party they will probably hire Washington as the villian. Tennessee would turn Washington every way, but loose.
Tennessee plays two G5 teams and an FCS team. UW played two G5 teams and no FCS teams. btw your lone P5 OOC game was played at a neutral site. That's about as lame as playing at a stock car track.

Our SOS is better than yours. It is always better than yours.

You're bragging about a win you haven't had? How Washington of you.
That should be 14 - 1 but the PAC refs went out of their way to fvck UW in the 2015 game in the hopes of an undefeated Utah vs undefeated Stanford PAC championship game.
