1. PAC-12
In its last season of existence as we know it, the Pac-12 has proven to be an absolute monster. Washington, behind Heisman Trophy contender Michael Penix Jr at quarterback, has elevated itself all the way to No. 2 in the CBS Sports 133. The Pac-12 landed five teams in the top 15 of our comprehensive FBS rankings: Oregon at No. 7, USC at No. 9, Utah at No. 12 and Washington State at No. 15. One-third of the top 15 teams in the country reside out west, and what's most impressive is that these teams are doing it on both sides of the ball. Four of the top five scoring offenses are in the Pac-12 (USC, Oregon, Washington and Washington State), while three are in the top 11 nationally in total defense (UCLA, Utah and Oregon).
2. $EC
3. B1G
4. ACC
5. Big 12
6. Mountain West
7. AAC
8. Sun Belt
9. Conference USA
10. MAC

You guys beat up a bunch of G-5 and now your G-5 Champions only.

The $EC plays the least amount of P5 opponents on average of all the P5 conferences.
The SEC has kicked ass and will continue to kick ass. Washington plays against zero great defenses and only play against one decent defense this year. Y'all are Puds.

You must be slow. Top 5 offenses against G-5.
You sound like Honors going on about UCF.

Tier 1: The Front-Runners
Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington

Penix merely threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns with an interception as UW steamrolled Cal by 27 points. His pesky teammates need to stop giving the Huskies a 14-point lead before he even takes a snap to preserve his Heisman upside. Penix has passed for 1,636 yards and 16 touchdowns in four games.
Caleb Williams, QB, USC
Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas
Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

Tier 2: Top Chasers
Sam Hartman, QB, Notre Dame
J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Jordan Travis, QB, Florida State
Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

Huskies Have a Believer in What They're Doing in Joel Klatt
The college football analyst calls UW "the scariest team in the country."

On Wednesday, the college football analyst on his well-heeled podcast sounded the alarm for those underestimating Kalen DeBoer's 4-0 team, suggesting the UW might be something out of the ordinary on the national landscape.

"The Washington Huskies are the scariest team in the country for everybody else," Klatt said, beginning his breakdown. "That team easily is one of the two or three best teams in the country, hands down."
