Our AD, Mike Bohn hired him while he was AD at Cincinnati. Our only hope (I know hope is not a very good strategy) is that they both liked working together and would like to do it again.

We brought in his DC to ND. And thr current HC came from Cincy. So we have a bit of a pipeline there :)

Seriously though he is going to be a good one.

I'm thinking he is going to be gone by the time we decide to replace Helton. The schedule is favorable for Helton to finish 8-4 and the bot has already shown that they are currently not interested in the success of the football program. The way I see it they will just let Helton's contract run out and then start looking for a new coach.
