Nice of you to join us for coffee. I am pretty confident beer consumption will be along shortly.Morning folks. If I was home, I'd be drinking beer by now.

Have not. I do know, the injection doesn't work for just any headache.
Last night it woke me up. No jaw soreness .Do you wake up with headaches, neck pain or jaw fatigue/soreness?

Not to my knowledge. It feels like a hot piece of rebar gets shoved thru my temple makes a sharp turn and straight out my eye socket. If that were to happen and you live, that's about how it would feel. I was getting over a sinus infection so last week I chalked it up to sinus. Didn't hit me until yesterday i hope this isnt the start of a long cylcle. I had 3 throu out the day monday, and they got progressively stronger.Do you know if you clench or grind your teeth?

Understood. When these monsters started a couple years ago, i had a dentist appt, he throu the gas on me and almost immidiatly boom gone. For a couple if hours. Finally saw neurolust who specializes in these. Spent a good hr with me. Popped me with an epipen looking device and boom relief. They just arent good for you at all. Early this am was the 1st injection ive had to take in a long time.I suffered from migraines for the longest time and was just treating as the happened. Saw a specialist and ended getting treated for sleep apnea and allergies. Haven't had one in ages
I do treat quite a few patients that have migraines from TMJ issues.
Cluster headaches are another level.
Told doc, that jumping off a bridge was a realistic option, he came back w/ "suicide headaches are the nickname" for these bastards. Many of people who could get relief, off'd themselves. I know imthat sounds stupid but it's the truth.I suffered from migraines for the longest time and was just treated as they happened. There's a lot of us who get up ridiculously early most days and drink lots of coffee! So. For some reason I had never opened this thread.
Any cliff notes for the lazy of us?
I start my day with a cup of coffee and this thread. Nothing fancy, just a variety of people with different backgrounds greeting each other before starting their day.So. For some reason I had never opened this thread.

That is a bit of a drop. Looking forward to some cooler weather here, but 70’s is what I am thinking as cooler.Big cold front came through yesterday here. Went from 90 on Monday and Tuesday to highs in the 60s for the rest of the week and into next week as well. It's only 54 here now with a stiff breeze, chilly.
That probably won’t be changing anytime soon.Good morning everyone. I'm still getting up at the asscrack of dawn when I don't have to. ugh..... Time for more coffee!
