Well....I'm getting ready to close on my first house next week...should I be worried?

Nah, was not expecting to have to replace furnace and A/C right now. A 5 figure bill I had not budgeted for.

But love the house.

Don't know who said it. Unlike most vehicles, if you do your due diligence, you should at minimum not be investing in a depreciating asset. Or not paying rent to cover someone else's mortgage. Long run, most, or their heirs get their money back...

So I quit smoking cigs and kicked my caffeine addiction this month. Been three weeks now. Having the thc carts from Cali helps. But I had the flu for two weeks and was too sick to notice or care about withdrawals. Feels pretty good.

You cold turkey them?

Trying to kick the caffeine habit and it is tough.

With the cigs, yes cold turkey. The caffeine not quite. I drank nothing but water and didn’t smoke for two weeks while I was sick. Now I’ll still probably get a coke if I’m at a restaurant or grab the occasional Starbucks, but I don’t feel the need first thing in the morning to get some caffeine in my system. I don’t crave it like I do the nicotine but I can get through the day without either and have no issue.

I like the look. Years ago both schools decided to go with home jerseys (even at the Rose Bowl) for this game since at one time they both called the coliseum home. Initially the visiting team would get a penalty at the beginning of the game for it. Haven’t paid attention if that is still the case or if the league finally pulled their heads out of their asses.
