Morning schmucks...

We are taking our dog to be put down in a few hours. This is my wife's dog of the last 13 years. Wife is being tough now but I know what is about to happen. Standing there next to them as the drugs go in is about as helpless as it gets in the relationship we have with our animals. But the poor girl is absolutely miserable right now. She can hardly stand up, her kidneys are failing so she isn't eating and hardly drinking water. We've tried to give her french fries, burgers, cheese, fuck - anything that she would beg for next to us. She can't even wag her tail she has so many issues with her hips.

It's tough man. When I had to have one of ours put down I cried like a little girl. At least the poor thing won't be suffering any more.

If you wife is anything like mine, she's MUCH tougher than I am. She will have her cry, but not in front of you. In 33 years I've seen her cry only a few times... when her g'pa died, when her father died, and when her g'ma died. (and one time when she was REALLY REALLY pissed at me, which we won't go into.)
