My little cousin (304lbs) has some wheels.

Dropping some lbs helped him out. I know the competition hasn't been great the first 3 games, but the defensive front 6-7 has been light years ahead of the last 2 years.

He actually weighs a little more this year, but he's less chubby. He worked out a lot with OU wrestling the last two years. He wrestled a little for them at Heavyweight (285lbs) in 2017-2018 before Riley said no to anything but practicing.

He is doing much better after his He had a Lisfranc break, Lisfranc ligament tear, and dislocation. They put a metal plate in his foot back in 2016.

He was told this year the only way to really fix it was to basically end his football career, and get it fused.

He said screw it, and I think that helped him work on getting too where he could push off on it again with a lot of pressure. He does a lot of rehab on getting that strength back in that foot.

Thanks for the info. I thought I had read somewhere that he had shed around 15 lbs. Guys with wrestling backgrounds make tough linemen.
