NFL Draft

How bout this.

Just tell me the answer you want a hear ahead of time.

We had a good discussion earlier in this thread about this. Apparently you didn't bother reading it. Short answer....Being a successful CFB QB has nothing to do with being a successful NFL QB. CFB and NFL are different games. 85 schollies versus a 53 man roster requires a different mindset from the coaching perspective. I have no idea what answer I want to hear, I just didn't like your generic answer.

I didn’t give you a generic answer. I gave you an actual thoughtful answer that explained the current draft and how it’s played out.

You just gave an answer that pretty much is universally known and agreed upon and would be considered much more generic.

OK, cool. I'll be your dumbass. Thanks for explaining everything to me. None of it made any sense, but that's my fault because I'm your dumbass. 'Preciate ya.

SMH

And I originally popped in here to enjoy the Eagles taking two Dawgs in their first 3 picks. And having a solid draft.

Whatever man, have a good night

Have to give The Eagles and Howie Roseman a solid A.

Some people are on the fence about Jordan Davis but I can’t complain. Got a big space eater in the middle that can replace Fletcher Cox.

Made the trade of the night and acquired AJ Brown which now really opens things up for Devonta Smith.

Then land the Center of the Future and Jason Kelce approved Cam Jurgens who will pair nicely with Landon Dickerson in the interior.

Then, the true potential steal of the night getting Nakobe Dean. If the pectoral is fine (and worst case he redshirts this year) you finally have an actual NFL Capable starter instead of the last few years of trying to make special teams tweeners into something other than special teams tweeners.

Closed out the day with Kyron Johnson who can be the above mentioned special teams tweener. But…

Getting Grant Calcaterra is super intriguing. The guy was working his way to a Night 1 pick at OU before the concussion issues and retirement. Came back and was solid at SMU. For a 6th round pick to get a guy who if his mental and physical health is 100% could be a really nice 2nd TE option is a shrewd drafting.

Well done, Howie, We’ll Done.

Nakobe Dean was the steal of the draft. You're gonna like him. A LOT. Dude got a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 3 years. Incredibly intelligent. He also plays sideline to sideline and is equally comfortable in coverage or rushing the QB. He was the play caller for UGAs defense this past season. All those 1st round picks unanimously said that they were as good as they were because all they had to do was what Dean told them to do. Pure leadership on the field. Having those years lining up behind Davis is gonna give Philly something special when Dean sees the field. More often than not, he knew which side of Davis was gonna be the open hole to the backfield prior to the snap.

Yep, Daniels would probably go underrated or at the end maybe.
