I actually try and follow Penn State as much as I can (I believe I’ve told the story why before), and I was familiar with Franklin from Vandy. I always thought he was a B+ coach but after I started reading your criticisms of him and watched more skeptically this year I agree he’s good, nearly great at times but he is also always good for a loss he should have no business losing, often due to lazy, ill preparation and unwillingness to adjust.

One of my best friends played on the O line in the mid to late 90s for PSU. So of course we follow their games close. He I kid you not wrote an empassioned letter to USC AD public email without disclosing who he was on trying to get USC to hire Franklin.

And then wrote a longer much more strongly worded one to the PSU after they gave him that huge contract lol.

I was personally hoping for Franklin to go to USC. Just because of his bone headed BS
 
Before anyone asks. I have no idea what to expect from ND today. Between the coaching change. The issues at O line. Some great players sitting out. And a very disciplined Okie St team.

I don't see a super high scoring game. I could see a 27 - 17 type of score
 
Lol we are in so much trouble losing our defensive play callers and are instead using THREE coaches to call the D. We are soooo fugged 😂

Send me some! I've got the massive sad right now because we keep with a QB missing half a chromosome who does not do well under ANY pressure. We have no DC and an OC the last AD saddled us with and created a stupid buyout for.

For any unaware, Gundy and the old AD Holder have actively hated each other for years.

That last drive you saw a freshman HC mistake. Should have taken a Timeout and move the defense. Instead had the wrong package on the field and let them march down
 
I do love how they are giving Tommy Rees the credit to playing to the "weakness" of Okie St when talking about the ND run game instead of saying it like it is. That the O line can't rush block against a Pop Warner team.
 
Should be a crime that Meyer wasn't even on the short list on the Mackey. The guy is arguably the best TE. Couldn't believe they didn't at least list him
