So what is it, art? A hoax? Aliens? Marker for a lost treasure? A joke? To my eye it dosen't appear to be vertical either. Seems to lean a little to the right. Whoever put it there went through a lot of work to embed it in rock.

I'm convinced that we have had multiple advanced civilizations on our planet. I mean seriously technologically advanced civilizations. Some more technologically advanced than we are now. To me, this is obviously a relic from one of them.
