Interesting comment.... as I'm currently listening to a podcast that is dissecting the Declaration of Independence. One of the topics they are discussing has to do with Thomas Sowell's fence analogy.... If a traveler comes across a fence that impedes his journey he can leave it or remove the fence. It's not always bad to remove the fence - sometimes it needs removed. But it is important to understand why the fence was there to begin with.

"Progressives" do not understand why 'fences' are in place. Their motivation is to simply remove fences (kill babies, give children sex-altering hormones, hedonistic lifestyles, etc). They "progress" for the sake of progressing. But their logical end is failure.
