You should try asking one with a question mark. Are we going to discuss what constitutes mental illness? You didn't answer the question.

A guy who thinks he's a chick for starters. With that said why are Democrats pushing to allow biological males use school girls bathrooms, locker rooms and participate in girl's organized sports? You should try asking one with a question mark. Are we going to discuss what constitutes mental illness?

I don't really consider a dude who thinks he's a chick to be mentally ill, cross dressers have been around for eons. A little weird, but then I thought the goth kids when I was growing up were weird as fuck too, not to mention the emos. I also consider people who are fervently religious to the point that they believe god speaks to them directly to be pretty weird as well. Like most things there are many shades of gray on the crazy spectrum, I'm firmly in the I like hot chicks, but if some other dude wants to fuck another dude, it's his life and it's none of my business.A guy who thinks he's a chick for starters. Because he knows the answer isn’t favorable to his stance. You didn't answer the question.
Cheerleader responses are typically bad form. You want to debate the issue, jump in, but spare me the rah rah.Because he knows the answer isn’t favorable to his stance.
I’m busy atm but your responses to me will be addressed.Cheerleader responses are typically bad form. You want to debate the issue, jump in, but spare me the rah rah.
While I am no teacher I come from a family of them (my mother, sister, brother in law, and 7 cousins are all teachers). I am aware most are good people. But there are plenty that aren’t, plenty that are social activists posing as teachers. I don’t see how anyone could look at how teachers unions acted last year and conclude there’s not a rotten vote running and spreading throughout their ranks, as is further and further documented and demonstrated. Jesus we want to defund the police for far, far, far fewer examples of misuse of power with far, far less spreading ramifications. But, the left hates cops and live teachers. Wonder why? But I suppose you attribute spiking levels of socialism amongst the youth to shitty parenting, not shitty teaching. My kids are 16 and 11 here in another month, so not so much a bygone era (and the primary reason I can't retire even though I have the money to do that already hah!). By and large most teachers aren't socialist zealots attempting to corrupt the minds of children, they're just people like you and me doing their job in the best way they can. I'm sure some out there have a social agenda they want to push, but by and large it's simply not the case. I meet with each of my children's teachers at least twice a year and have a face to face with them. None are sporting purple hair and waving around a dildo.
My older one will often talk about stuff brought up at school, but it's more from his friends than the teacher about crazy shit happening in the world. I offer advice, ask him to look at both sides of it, then make his own decisions.
A kid will spend approximately 6-8 hours (maybe 10 if they're in some sorta extra curricular) a week with any given teacher. If you as a parent haven't given them the tools to analyze what they're saying if they have an agenda, again, that falls on the parent. If you can't spend more than 10 hours a week with your kid, then you need to re-prioritize your life.
The people most often complaining about this stuff are grabbing out the outliers (Thanks again social media for finding the whack-a-doodles) and then trying to apply it to the entire education system. I can probably just as easily to out and find some religious nutjob article who says all kids are going to burn in hell for not believing in Jesus. The reality is often somewhere in the middle.
I miss the days when you could just make fun of the fruitloops, but you can't make fun of the left because everyone's all woke. And you can't make fun of the right because then you're attacking muh religion. Everyone plays the persecution card.
Again if you're kid turns out a communist, you've done a shitty job as a parent.
True. I don’t know. I can only make a very well informed opinion decision based off of all current observable social reality. That's just a strawman argument. You don't know what the authority figure would do if the kid wasn't wearing a dress. You're just assuming he'd come down harder/make a different decision, but you don't know.
What you should be upset about is the fact that a potential rapist got put into another school. Period. At least that's where my head is at as a parent. I could give a fuck less if the kid raping my daughter has a dress or blue jeans on, the fucker is dead meat and they ain't never going to find his body.
You want to point out a kid wearing a dress got special treatment? Great. I can play this game as well. There's a fucking metric shitton of kids who've gotten special treatment after raping a girl. Shall we start pointing out their political affiliations? It's a pointless game to play and just goes to further someone's agenda.
A girl got raped, the kid needs to be dealt with and the guy who covered it up needs to be fired and potentially prosecuted for malfeasance.
Unions in general close ranks to protect the shitty apples. Teachers union is no different than the Police Union. Hell, you need only look at seniority merit vs actual merit to determine that. The best you can do from what I can see is have them sidelined. If I has a parent get the impression that one of my kids teachers is off their rocker, then I'll go before the school board and present my evidence. While I am no teacher I come from a family of them (my mother, sister, brother in law, and 7 cousins are all teachers). Didn't the guy resign? Honestly I haven't really paid attention much to the aftermath but I figured that was the most logical resolution. I wouldn't be shocked if he faces charges or a civil lawsuit at the very least but those will take time to work their way through the courts.True. I don’t know. As for what I should be upset about, “the fact that a potential rapist got put into another school. Period.” I am. And I am of the belief the only reason HE was is because HE identifies as a she, and God knows we can’t vilify the T’s. As for the tough guy talk, a trans girl could rape your daughter and if you did anything in retaliation AT BEST the media would never cover it and you’d be punished to the extreme, quietly. More like you’d be destroyed and your legacy burned, along with your city.
But yes it’s the rape and coverup that piss me off. Not the identity of the sick fucking rapist. But let’s not poo poo the issue. Let’s treat the school the same way we did the Catholic Church or Penn State. Why arent we? I wonder. /s
I can speak to it…it went from a significant portion (holding power amongst tenured professors) to a mass majority, yielding power backed by the government, trickled down to high schools and grade schools and even pre-k, masked as social issues, anti bullying, etc. it became far more pushed, especially on impressionable women and taught to be victim minorities.Unions in general close ranks to protect the shitty apples. My own mother managed to get one of my teachers "removed", ended up she was bi-polar and wasn't taking her meds. She'd have mad mood swings during classtime, and me in my infinite wisdom decided to poke that bear one too often. Got me removed from class, suspended, and sent to the VP for a paddlin'. My mom did the correct thing, she agreed my behavior was inappropriate, and asked I be removed from her class, then she followed up on it and presented her findings to the Vice Principal who had the teacher promptly sidelined.
As far as the spike in socialism, I can't really speak to that. Was it always there? Are people just more vocal about it? Hard to say. Most people who proclaim to be socialists don't even understand what socialism is to be honest. It just strikes me as youth trying to push the limits.
As far as the police, definitely cover that in a different thread, it's a far too nuanced topic. Feel free to start it up.
And die in the partisan courts when public outrage ends.Didn't the guy resign? Honestly I haven't really paid attention much to the aftermath but I figured that was the most logical resolution. Honestly, I'm not sure the Dad of the first girl would really have a case. The parents of the second girl would have a slam dunk civil lawsuit though. And die in the partisan courts when public outrage ends.
Slam dunk? Not when cases become politicized. Make an issue important to the left and injustice is guaranteed.Honestly, I'm not sure the Dad of the first girl would really have a case. The parents of the second girl would have a slam dunk civil lawsuit though.
To be fair, wouldn't be an issue for me. I'd calmly wait a year, then the kid would simply disappear. But yet, I get it, you hate the left, there's no justice, etc.. etc..Slam dunk? Not when cases become politicized. Make an issue important to the left and injustice is guaranteed.
