Seattle Parks and Recreation co-hosted a beach walk with Sea Potential on Sunday that was advertised as "open to anyone who identifies" as non-White.

Well it reads, “Seattle Parks admitted in a statement to Rantz that "the messaging could’ve been clearer" surrounding the event, and that everyone was invited to join.”

in that case why not say open to anyone? Why say open to anyone who identifies as non-white BIPOC? Why the quantifier if it’s truly for “everyone”?
