Oklahoma National Guard soldiers get sendoff before deployment to Africa

Approximately 50 Oklahoma National Guard soldiers received a farewell from their leaders and loved ones in Muskogee, Okla., on Monday as they prepared to deploy to the Horn of Africa for a humanitarian mission.

This should piss off every N.Carolinian. The Oklahoma National Guard are deploying engineers to The Horn of Africa to “work on infrastructure projects, including building homes and work related to plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.”

As a reminder, NC Guard has 3 full battalions of engineers available to @NC_Governor
Stein. None of whom are currently working in WNC to “work on infrastructure projects, including building homes and work related to plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.”

Some NC-based leftard just today called me a propagandist for pointing out our state government’s failures in WNC. This one stings particularly hard, especially considering the unused, un-deployed manpower and resources already available here in our own state.

Update: Violent Portland Antifa member and serial arsonist Jarrid Bailey Huber received another sweetheart plea deal over his second felony arson attack conviction, committed while he was on probation for another attack in 2021.

Huber was sentenced to only 10 days in county jail and 120 hours of community service. He's not allowed to have contact at the UPS location he attacked. He committed the 2023 attack while being on probation for being convicted of second-degree arson, riot and first-degree criminal mischief.

Judge Beth A. Allen waived any new fines or restitution and signed off on the sentencing order.
