No, the DEI firings are because DEI hires are inherently racist, and often lead to underqualified or incapable people unjustly in important roles. Such as, y'know, pilot. Or fire chief.

How does Trump know those people are not qualified? How does he know which people were hired only because they were a minority?

If you're suggesting Trump should know on an individual basis, that's absurd. But, there are obviously many ways of knowing if someone was a DEI hire...if they were hired by DEI enforcement personnel, if they were hired in order to meet a quota, or if their description demanded a certain number of traits for consideration, if their position required test results or experience they failed to meet or lack, but were hired anyway, if they were hired within a window of time, if there were clauses put in to protect their position based on racial or sexual identities, etc etc etc

Take the female lesbian helicopter pilot that caused the DC crash. She was grossly underqualified....only 500 hours of flight experience....flying at the wring altitude, and either disobeyed or was incompetent in not following instruction.... and it cost 70 lives. Can we "prove" she was a DEI hire? Or is it merely a coincidence that a female, democrat lesbian pilot lacking the flight time training to be in control caused such a tragic accident. The delta pilot who just crashed...another female. And gee, a few years back, there was a deliberate push to get more pilots of people of color as pilots as the field was full of too many white men. Need I go on?

Firing everyone to the point of there's nobody to run those organizations, sectors..is crazy. I am all for hiring people who are qualified...but, you look at their work..not if they were a DEI hire.

Well, he's not doing that. He's reducing over-bloated bureaucratic organizations and saving money. And that is also the point...the quality of a DEI's work is substandard, hence why their were DEI hires! Otherwise they would have been hired on merit, already!

It was more of how I viewed the moves, as well as what others said. The thought was, what other reason would there be if you cannot know who is qualified or not.

If someone is elected to a federal position they swear an oath to the U. S. Constitution. A federal government employee (like IRS, Post Office, etc ) is hired and works for someone that was federally elected, or appointed by someone federally elected. Federal Employees can be fired, but with some inherit protection of checks and balances within government oversight (i. e. Judicial review, appeals, etc.) but, generally, if the President says you're gone, then your gone.

The same with the military. The volunteer military swears an oath to the U. S. Constitution. The Constitution assigns the President as the Commander in Chief, so the military answers to the position of U. S. President (which has redundancies, as needed). So nobody is swearing an oath to a person, but a constitutional position.
