Getting what they voted for.....good and hard.

Sounds like the way you think ANYTHING Trump says is gospel. (in reaction to the meme)
Now you're trowing a Hail Mary on second down after taking a 5 yard loss on the opening possession in the first quarter.

I can be highly critical of Trump, and we weren't discussing Trump. You post headlines from opinion pieces and then go glib chicken little, and when called on it, you get desperate.

I am not desperate. I just think you ignore things because you don't like being wrong. I saw an article about how meat prices are soaring but I didnt post it because meat prices could soar in your (general 'you', anyone on this board) grocery store but you wont admit it or care.

Well, most people don't like being wrong, myself included, but I am rarely wrong, but, admit it when I AM.

At the end of the day you post HEADLINES from OPINION pieces, and, I would be you haven't even acrtually READ them. Not that you're unique in that. They COUNT on this. Statistically most don't read anything but the headline, and I believe it's 70% don't read past the first paragraph. But most of the opinion pieces you post are doom prediction ones. As in, debating it is. a oot point because it won't come to pass for some time, and if/when that time comes and it doesn't, you wouldn't remember, or wouldn't wart to debate it or admit you were wrong cuz "what does it matter?" or "you should be glad". There are two professions that can be wrong all the time and still employed and listened to.... meteorologists predicting the weather, and sports gambling insiders. Why? Cuz there's always gonna be a tomorrow or another game.

Could "the expert" you posted be right? Sure. But so far the experts who predicted doom and gloom at this point six months ago are wrong.

And, this has nothing to do, really, with Trump. But we can discuss him and even criticizer him if you'd like, just pick something concrete to talk about.

Beef is going up in price because we have the smallest cow herd since the 50s. There's nothing Trump or any politician can do about that unless they stop urban sprawl, urban flight, hunters buying up tracts of land and not allowing cattle to graze on it, and an end to crp. Now with that said there is still room to regrow the cow herd in some areas out west that have been ravaged by drought in recent years and have had to sell cows. But, restocking is a slow process especially when bred heifers are selling for between 4 and 5 thousand a head, and if you keep your own that you raised, it's costing you nearly the same by the time the first calf hits the ground when you figure in feed, pasture, mineral, equipment. etc, and what you would have made by instead selling her at the sale barn as a feeder calf. I personally keep 15 to 20 replacements a year. That's roughly 80 grand that I have invested in those heifers by the time they drop a calf.
