Capitalism is awesome! Just imagine how many tax dollars and tuition is going into these checks. And for all the 'well it comes from a private fund' BS, they are offsetting that. Let's all be really honest about that. Have a buddy that works in the ND finance office for decades, and when ND was paying Ty, Charlie, and BK all at the same time due to buy outs, the University was publically saying it was being 'privately offset', however it was loans that did it, fronted by private groups with the school kicking it back to them on the back side so that they didn't have to pay it all up front. And that is how they juggled doing it over and over again.

Don't have to pay a buyout if you can convince some program in Florida that your coach is worth "stealing".
