Overturned ship off St Simons Island

"In February 2020, it was announced that the vessel will be cut into eight sections weighing between 2,700 and 4,100 tons that will then be removed for disposal."

Somebody get me a fucking torch.

Seriously, it was still there Sunday and it looks there's been zero progress. That picture with the pier is the St Simon's Pier. My favorite restaurant and one of the top 10 burger places on the East Coast, "Brogen's" has a bird's eye view, being about 150 yards from the pier.

How long ago and where? I'm pretty familiar with the island. Which was your favorite restaurant?
I was too poor to go to restaurants. I cannot remember the name of the apartment complex. When you come over the toll bridge when the road goes back to 2 lanes take your first right. Passed the 4or 5 houses where the only black people on the island lived, take a left and the rest is foggy.
