The article says 'Staffordshire Terriers' so I looked it up in google images and it looks like a Pitbull to me.

People should be charged with criminal offenses for this type of shit. Misdemeanor on first offense, probation, then felony (with same animal). An I own a bull terrier. Not the big muscle bound prison yard looking one, but still he is still a bull terrier (even if mixed). He wouldnt hurt anyone, but will go after a big dog. Thats why I keep his ass on a leash outside the house. Never intended to get a bull terrier from the pound, or a "Pitt-bull" which he is not.

But Im aware that ANY dog can cause harm to someone. Ive had more run-ins with chihuahuas and Pomeranians than pits. Those lil bastards are viscous. Ive also had bad scares from the ever-popular 'supposed "family dog" German Shepherds (they can be some of the most terrifying killers) and had a client that nearly died as a child, 37 stitches, deformed face and on disability now). Also had a female friend in college that needed multiple plastic surgeries after an encounter with a neighbor's German Shepherd as a child; she still had noticeable scaring on her face. Chows are basically a walking bear/lion mix in my experience., dangerous AF. I could go on about breeds. But when dogs get in packs, and off the leash, they might as well be wolves.

With that said, prosecute these fuckers that dont have enough sense to know this about dogs, refuse to acknowledge it or are mentally challenged in this area of basic understanding.
