And seriously did Penn St get a new HC? Did the AP forget they have Brian Kelly the sequel at the helm there

My view has changed on BK since he left ND. I think he has peaked and will never win the Natty. His time at LSU will be the last trip to the big schools and if he coaches again it will be at a lower tiered school.

I think the speculation with PennSt is directed to returning offensive production along with the addition of Jim Knowles at DC. If they ever get over the hump in the B1G, this season should be their best chance since Franklin took over. Say what you want about Franklin, but you have to remember that he had 9 win seasons twice at Vanderbilt. Those were the only 2 9 win seasons in Vandy history.

But look at his big game record at Penn St. He is the current Big Game Bob. And Kelly is right behind him.
My biggest argument with Kelly was always that he was rewarded by the faithful for almost winning. It is the same M.O. as Franklin. He plays big teams close but can't win. And then still drops a game here and there he has no reason to.

I will say if he doesn't finish top 5 or 10 with some quality wins. Especially with the schedule he has that chair will have to be on fire

I'm not gonna argue. I said what I said. Time will tell which one of us is right.
