Anybody picking Texas? They usually play up to Oklahoma in this game, regardless of the rest of their season.

Sark knows that a win here can secure him at least and extra year to build.

But...Oklahoma...

Regardless, the real winners here are the folks getting to eat all the fried deserts...

I dont have a good feeling about this one. Talk here all week has been the Casey Thompson storyline and how it may set the stage for a Texas win. We have looked less than impressive, but have somehow keep coming away with the win. Maybe, just maybe this can be the week we get it figured out. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst

What makes you say so? Gut? Overdue?

I mean, Oklahoma may be underperforming, but it's not like Texas is burning it down...
Spencer rattler is completely and consistently under performing. I think Sark will devise a game plan to confuse him and force him into making some mistakes. I think turnovers will be the key to the game and I think Texas wins the turnover battle.

Our o-line isnt doing him any favors right now, so anything that gives them problems is gonna give him problems

Interesting stats, local radio was doing a comparison of Rattler and Kyler Murray 2021 stats so far

Murray QBR 74.5 CMP 76.1 102-134 YDS 1273 TD 9 INT 4 (current favorite for MVP)
Rattler QBR 78.9 CMP 76.3 122-160 YDS 1260 TD 10 INT 4

Im just not quite ready to write him off. Full disclosure, we have no business in the playoff this year, and it kills me to say that

OU looks average honestly, nothing I've seen from them scares me offensively. Bijan Robinson for Texas is a beast. If Thompson can avoid turning it over, I like Texas leaning on Robinson and getting the win.

I'm not against Spencer Rattler, I don't think he's the issue at Oklahoma right now. That said, comparing college stats to NFL stats is pretty useless.

I wouldn’t write him off either, but it appears he is having issues with pre-snap reads and progressions.
