When my wife was asking why my concern when Russia is “getting their asses kicked”, I told her this could lead in an instant to China invading Taiwan, North Korea attacking South Korea, Iran vs Israel, Pakistan vs India, etc etc and we’re all fucked.

As an old Intel analyst, I see your concerns. Take it for what it's worth, though, I don't see that explosion happening. It currently appears to me that the rest of the world is taking all of this in stride. While our regime is basically useless in response, every country with some semblance of power concerning their relationship with Russia, has taken to condemning Putin in many forms, including financially. China included. This looks to the rest of the world as an unprovoked attack that has been met with condemnation and legitimate sanctions, as well as financial and military support for Ukraine. Understand that analysis happens from snapshot to snapshot. My analysis is a work in progress and the simplest observation could change the picture drastically in an instant. Currently, however, I don't see this as WW3. I see it as a localized dispute that Ukraine is currently winning on the ground and in the eyes of the world.

Ukraine roads company removing road signs to confuse Russians

MOSCOW (Reuters) - A Ukrainian company in charge of building and maintaining roads said it was removing all road signs that could be used by invading Russian forces to find their way around the country.

"The enemy has poor communications, they cannot navigate the terrain," the company Ukravtodor said in a Facebook update late on Friday. "Let us help them get straight to hell."

It posted an edited photo of a standard road sign in which directions to nearby cities have been replaced with profanities that could be translated as "Go fuck yourself", "Go fuck yourself again" and "Go fuck yourself back in Russia".

We (Trump) cut 1.2% to force the fucking wishy washy Krauts to the table. Putin did what trump nor any of his predecessors could. It united NATO and the West.

Minus the metals china brings in, the west could cut the rest of the world off and focus our collective moneys on technology, fusion and fision, space exploration. FFS, in 15 years time we could harvest all the mat's we need on the moon and can forever lock China, Russia, The Ghans and Stans of the world off until they are ready to act like civilized adults.

We have a lot of those metals here in Alaska but aren't allowed to mine them thanks to the Dems in DC.
