GodspeedSo today I found out today that an Army Vet that I work with is putting in his application to join the Ukrainian Foreign Legion. Dude did 3 tours in Afghanistan in SF. He hasn't been out of the Army long enough to readjust to civilian life. He's mad as hell about what Putin is doing to Ukraine and said, "I want to go hunt that motherfucker down and dispose of him in the vilest way possible."
He showed me his passport application and the application to join the Legion. He didn't say much to anyone, but he talks to me a lot about what he's done and seen.
Godspeed
There was no way they could hold on indefinitely, Russia just gas too many weapons and soldiers. Overwhelming numbers make a difference. Honestly, I’m surprised they have held on as long as they have. They made the commie bastards pay for every inch though. And I suspect will have a fierce resistance movement to continue to make things miserable for them. It's not looking good for Ukraine atm. A pocket is forming and the Russians are about to close the back door.

That's in Belarus, not Russia. I rented an apt. in that city (Minsk) for six weeks and ya that country has more secret police per capital than any other country in Europe. It's run by a dictator no better than Putin.Russia is getting more like Canada every day...

Russia's invasion of Ukraine could set back fight against climate change — or turbocharge it

**On a side note, we spend about 3 grand a week on oil for gear boxes and hydraulics. Apparently wood is a horrible lubricant. #goingindry
