Good afternoon everyone! Allow me to introduce myself...

I have been an SEC football contributor for Fifth Quarter for well over a year! I am also a recruiting analyst for Prep Redzone, covering recruits in the state of Georgia. I truly believe we have something special brewing here at FQ!

With that being said, I will pop in here occasionally asking for mailbag questions. Questions can include anything related to SEC football and SEC football recruiting. I won't hesitate to break down some film either...

I may pop in here with some recruiting nuggets on the occasion as well

OK, I'll get this thing finally on track and ask you about a recruit out of Georgia that just committed to my Cats. 4* LB Grant Godfrey out of Suwanee, GA. Seems like a really good get for us and his biggest offer (out of 31) was from Tennessee, which is even better. Word is that he's an UGA legacy, but I don't really know if that's true. Any thoughts on this young man?

I'll tag @OldDevilDawg in this one too in case he has any input.

He is indeed a UGA legacy. Definitely a great pickup.

Godfrey’s father, Randall, is a former Georgia linebacker who was named SEC Freshman of the Year in 1992 and earned All-SEC honors in both 1993 and 1994, according to 247Sports. He played in the NFL from 1996-2007, earning second-team All-Pro recognition in 2000.
