What happens in 2020 if this virus is still in swing? What happens to our beloved college football? The powers that be have already stated that this thing may not be contained until August.

Let's assume it's not gone by August. Will they push the season back or push panic again canceling everything?

It seems like a public officials nightmare having 80k fans in a stadium all together. Could we see games without fans?

Could we play just a certain amount of games and let voters determine the national champions again?

Don't just think major CFB either. This would make a financial issue for everyone. Many schools bank on selling thousands of hot dogs or merch each season.

Let's discuss something serious.

The season would be cancelled if the virus is not gone or at the very least contained to some sort of acceptable level determined by which ever health organization.

That's why I'm all in on ignoring this social distancing bullshit. Let's all get exposed as fast as possible and get this shit over with. Buncha fucking pussies in our country. I ain't skeered of dying, but I'm very afraid of how I'd respond to "No CFB".

I think we are getting close to the peak of this thing already, hopefully with the weather turning around everything will start getting better
They are going to make the season happen, there’s millions on millions of dollars lost if not. Not only for the schools but for media outlets

Welcome to the nuthouse. I like you already.

Unfortunately its still ramping up exponentially every couple of days. We don't even know how bad it is until we catch up on the amount of people we can test. Still way too many people running around with no symptoms passing it to others right now.

Dude, don't be such a Debbie Downer. When I was a kid, if my Mama heard of other kids having chicken pox, she'd spend grocery money on the gas needed to take us for a visit. "Let's get this shit over with."

I agree, I know that covid is a serious matter but I don’t think it’s as serious as everyone makes it. The flu kills thousands of people each year and it’s not really talked about.

This ain't chicken pox, you can get it more than once if you want to! 😂

I mean I'll still get with a small group and do some boozing this weekend regardless.

This may well kill thousands before it's over. I get it. But the fearmongering is getting ridiculous. Live life like normal and let this shit take it's course
is what I say.

To qualify my statement, I'm over 50, I smoke, and I'm a white male with a beard. I'm in the category of "Most likely to get it and die".

Flu IS talked about and a vaccine is in place. It is the fear of the unknown data that is driving Corona anxiety. Better to be cautious than cause a lot of death in a short amount of time. If you overwhelm the hospitals then other medical emergencies will also result in deaths.

Ro factor plays a part in this. Remember , there is currently no vaccine for COVID-19.

Ebola, 20141.51 to 2.53

The media kills people with fear. That’s why this is so out of hand. What’s the point of going to buy 100 rolls of toilet paper? It’s a fever and cough
