As you look at teams around the country, and their schedules. On the average top 25 should double digit regular seasons wins (not including CC or bowl) be considered the floor for success?
for me it depends on the body of work.
a team that has 5 close losses to Top 10 teams is more attractive than a team that beat the hell out of 10 cupcakes.

I knew another Bama fan would get it,I don't know about rankings, but I can remember a time when I just hoped for 6 wins to keep our consecutive bowl streak going,, of course mike Shula fucked that up..
there used to be only 11 or 12 games in a season,, when Bama won in 92, we were 13-0, first team to ever do that.. Now there's like 15 games,, so 10 wins is like a 4 loss season.
