I am so sick and tired of campaign commercials. Watching tv is impossible without the mute button during commercials. I cant wait till Monday so that they will die down till later in the year. Every commercial during the local news was political ads for dem presidential candidates.

Unfortunately, we have a lot of smart people in control positions that don't give a fuck about our country. They spend their lives getting re-elected and making themselves multi-millionaires by manipulating the system. The stupid just keep voting for them because they believe the bullshit.

Granted. But that comes back to the voters. Complain about the do nothing gasbag and then turnaround and vote the gasbag right back in and keep complaining.
It's why I'm against term limits. It's the peoples duty to pay attention. If the gasbag isn't doing a good job, vote em out.

Unfortunately, there are more ignorant voters than there are intelligent voters. The fuckers that make being a politician a lifetime career know this.

Many cannot see that most politicians only care about their voter based during voting time. Once they are in office, they only care about getting more power and money for themselves.
 
I was born, raised, and plan on staying here in California, so breathe a sigh of relief, but we win the battle on idiot voters.

I am in the middle politically, and shake my head every voting cycle. Not only on politicians, but propositions. I want to scream, do you people read these things before you walk into a voter booth.

On propositions. I've talked to a lot of people over the years and they ask how shall they vote. Even if they read the prop they don't know what the issue really is so it's wasting time trying to talk to them. If I have the time I'll try to bring em up to speed but then it's vote what you think. I just shake my head and move on.

Thing is....most of us are somewhere in the middle of the political spectrum and we don't get representation because the extreme on both sides of the aisle have control. It's a damn shame that can only be corrected by force.
