So why no discussion about OSU being #1

Lord knows I have no love for tOSU, but they have absolutely blown out pretty much everyone they have played so far, including curbsomping two ranked teams. LSU's schedule actually isn't better, and they haven't been blowing their better opponents out.

that said- fuck the bucknuts

I love it.. let them bastages carry that around a while... Georgia at 6 is pretty damn good .. striking distance.. like you say,, some heavyweight games coming up that will change things considerably..

I'm content with UGA at 6. Just completely shocked at tOSU above LSU. SOS apparently doesn't matter until it does. This "committee" might be a bit stupid.

I understand the concept of opinion, but let's look at a few things. LSU raped Georgia Southern. Georgia Southern took Minnesota to triple overtime. Georgia Southern beat AppSt who beat the UNC team that was a 2-pt conversion from beating Clemson.

The best win that OSU has is against a P5 Cincinnati.

It's the "eye test". Burrow at LSU has been phenomenal against highly ranked opponents. Fields has been phenomenal against what?

Well, unless Southern Georgia is considered a better team than Wisconsin (and if they are, why aren't they ranked), I still maintain that tOSU has better wins-and I have no love at all for the bucknuts, or the B1G

If it's SOS, there is no question. If it's "eye test" then everyone is back to personal opinion- and that's fine but we might as well be talking about ladies figure skating if that's how we're going to do rankings.

So you're saying that only offense matters? This seems to go against your sig.
LSU has an argument for sure but although their offense is very good their defense is ok but not great. OSU has had much better game control, fewer weaknesses, and have played much better on defense than LSU.
Is your argument that LSU plays in the mighty SEC so their schedule is so much tougher? The "experts" disagree.
It doesn't really matter as the winner of the Bama/LSU game will move into the top spot.

Against what, though?

My argument is that LSU has played better against much better OOC than OSU. Hang your hat on an OOC win versus Cincinnati if you want to, but that don't hold water.

But since it will all work itself out, you are wasting your time and mine by getting wadded panties over my opinion.

The real argument will come at the end when they pick an undefeated Clemson over a 1 loss SEC or B1G team and the fans of that team post their respective schedules and ask- WTF?

Or if they don't and Clemson fans ask about going undefeated and ask WTF?

Either way, expect a meltdown.

From what I have watched tOSU looks like the most complete team I have watched. Saying that I would have LSU #! AND tOSU 2
