Anyone have them in their yard? I have them all over. Works great during power outages. Hurricanes and such.
Buy the good ones, glass covering the solar cell, they last for many years. Just replace the rechargeable batteries every few years.
Can be a game changer.

I just started looking at those for landscape lighting. Any particular brand you like?

It's a nightly routine at our backwoods home. "Honey, bring in the landscaping lights so the kids can see their lesson books"

I have the good ones and the bad ones. The bad ones, well, you know suck. Slowly buying more and more.

Have a solar panel as well to recharge my car battery powered radio in my shed.
 
No. I look for glass topped.
That’s a good tip, I’ve never heard that before. I’ve wanted to buy some but I see neighbors with some pretty weak lights. With the lake effect clouds we’ll have times they just sort of die out, but I’d buy some that worked well when the sun is out.
