Soundoff is full woke now.

I talked to him face to face while I was in Idaho for Nod's wedding. I'm convinced that he had nothing to do with it.

I think he's a very good liar, like somebody waaaaay too good at it that it's commonplace within their very nature.

There's a lot of things that just added up to divine timing.

1st: he confided in only me that he was coming back to modding.

2nd: I told him about the purple board 48 hours before the Purge.

3rd: I told him we needed to coup Janty from moderating due to his actions towards posters while drunk.

4th: I told him that I just dropped the hammer on Jantys favorite pets.

Also: he'd call me a lot, he'd have me talk to his woman. Not really too weird but weird.

Never mentioned his past criminal ways (don't care there's room for reform) BUT he fucked over a very favorite poster of our at a golf course he was banned from and created a bad name for that other poster.

He called me almost immediately when the purge began (I was the first kill) and asked me about my issues before I knew I had issues. In about 10 minutes I was obliterated.

Really coincidental coincidences don't feel very coincidental to me.

He had also lied to me on the phone about himself and changed his stories a few times. I just don't believe him and never will, he's shown me how easy it is to lie to people.

It wasn't. It was no different than having a private conversation with multiple participants. The only people that look at it as dividing the board are the same people that need a reason for there to be a division.

It wasnt a cool kids club or anything like that. It was a board that a bunch of us posted on. It wasnt hidden it just wasnt being used. If any of you would have stumbled onto it you would have seen everything we saw.

I've heard this tired argument of division and it never stands up to scrutiny. It is just an empty talking point repeated enough that people start believing it. And since it is primarily said on SoundOff where none of us post there isnt a counter point to be offered.

And as far as us knowing people would get banned. We literally talked about in some of the posts. And the people that posted things they weren't supposed to post knew they could be banned for it the same as if they posted it on SoundOff. And again. As adults they made their choice. The problem comes from the people that got caught in friendly fire.
You only invited certain people. It was designed to be a private club. Of course it was divisive. Not a big deal but it's silly to deny it.

It wasnt though. That's the point. There was nothing private about it. If we wanted a private club we could do that through any of a thousand different ways that would have kept us from getting banned like private messages or facebook or another posting board.

It was literally a place we could go to for a bunch of us that normally posted together to not deal with some of the junk on soundoff.

There was no password to gain access. Hell it was easier to post there than soundoff because it didnt require getting your name cleared by the admin in order to post. So if you look at it like that. SoundOff was the private club and the purple board was the public one. But again. That's a silly argument and why people dont make it.

So if you believe it was some kind of divider that is most likely why you were not there to post on it. We literally just didnt want drama when we posted. For mods everytime we wrote a post it got picked apart by 500 posters about what we really meant by it or some other crap. It was nice to just post. And for others they had similar reasons to post there. Stop trying to make it something it wasnt. It is insane everytime I see this
