Pretty positive this was s paper wasp. The first time I’ve been stung by one, definitely stung like the dickens. My finger did swell up was more angry than anything. Fortunately I don’t believe we have the red wasps here Generally I just see yellow jackets took out a big hive last year with a can of brake clean that wipes them right out. At least we have time for the selling to go away before it’s time for me to throw up the fight on V and you to throw your guns up. College football can’t come soon enough.

I had a yellow jacket in GA (20 miles from Atlanta) that stung me when I smacked and killed it off of my leg. The venom it was carrying acutally ate my flesh and put a small dot on my leg for years. No shit. Was this a Queen Yellow Jacket or something? Brutal.

Queen paper wasp only the females can sting. They can sting more than once which does make them dangerous. I’ve heard stories about how nasty their stings are pretty spot on. Kind of felt like holding your finger over the blue part of a flame. My finger did swell right up but from what I’ve heard that’s normal with them. Biggest problem is they like their nests in places that are hard to find they’re all about protecting their offspring. I may have a swollen finger but I wiped out her bloodline and took out the queen in rage haha. Got her in a water bottle now. Was very proud of the assassin reply haha

Otherwise ice it, backing soda paste, keep it clean , calamine when it itches and wait it out imo
