Now you get my homer pick. Georgia Southern is gonna surprise in the Sun Belt. They get #23 Louisiana, #22 Coastal Carolina,and Georgia State at home in Paulson stadium. The last time they played in Boone versus AppSt, they won 24-21 in spite of 14 AppSt points in the 4th Qtr. At the time, AppSt was ranked #20 in the country. I think the Eagles win 3 of those 4 games minimum. My confidence level of winning all 4 is about 75%. Add a BYU trip to Statesboro that I think will be another big win....... The pundits are very down on Georgia Southern because they know nothing about them. GATA and GO EAGLES!

Even with the portal guys this is still a 5-7 win FSU team. Schedule is brutal and depth concerns all over the place.

We could maybe pull a big upset like UNC last year. But this season is mainly about competing and boosting S&P numbers and securing a foundational recruiting class for a big jump in the 22-24 seasons.
