The best part of Trump in 2015-6 is the worst part of him now. His legacy, historically, will shine brighter than Obama - whom the whole press and "history" will love. But his ego won't get out of the way. And he lives by his ego.

I think he’s too egotistical. In a “you can’t fucking script this, but it’s true” scenario, in 5 months, the media will be soft pushing for Trump while former Trump supporters say Hell no.

DeSantis is just a copout begging to go back to establishment politics. He's just another neocon. We need a paleocon that can attack the culture. Trump isn't a paleocon, but he is at least a perceived threat to the culture. DeSantis is neither, he's just trying to score points in that arena without actually doing anything. Did I like everything Trump did? No. Do I think Trump is a real conservative? No. But I also think we are past that point, I don't think DeSantis is a real conservative either. I can't name one that would have any potential of being elected. Trump is a culture war icon and I believe that is the biggest issue we face right now, culture.

We empower women to say that they should have sex with as many people as possible.

We are called to not just tolerate or accept, but to celebrate LGBT nonsense, you are a bigot otherwise.
We are targeted by the FBI for confronting indoctrination and degeneracy that is being pushed in schools.
We somehow allowed governments to shut down churches and practically whole states for a bullshit disease where they knowingly lied about and misrepresented it.
We have people embracing, endorsing, enabling mental illness.
We have a MSM that foams at the mouth to spark racial division.
We can't build a wall to control drugs and illegal immigration, but can send 50 times the amount to assist another country under the guise of 'rUsSiA bAd' to secure their borders.

You know I could go on, but do I need to?

I am still against all this spending and think outside of a national defense and securing borders, there isn't much the feds should even consider doing, but make no mistake, the culture war is the real issue right now. Our spending makes no difference if we have no say in how the next generation learns, grows, matures, etc. At the current rate, they will all be Godless, mentally ill, blue haired, face tatted, pierced everywhere, promiscuous, scantily dressed, with sex beginning before teenage years, LGBT activists that support MAPs (pedophiles), child sacrifice, child mutilation, segregation, white genocide, with rampant crime.

At that point, who gives a fuck how much money is being spent on entitlements?

I agree with pretty much everything in this post, but it doesn't really explain how Trump is a better option than DeSantis. Especially since Trump is basically un-electable. Neither Trump nor DeSantis is perfect - but DeSantis has a chance at beating whatever sleazeball the Dems put forth.

To be completely honest - I really like what Ramaswamy has been saying.
